I recently embarked on an exciting journey with my client Gavin, where we were tasked with creating a mobile app solution. This was not only my first professional UX project but also a collaborative endeavour that stretched beyond design into the realm of presentation and storytelling. Throughout this project, I engaged in extensive user research, interface design, and prototyping, adapting my approach based on real-world user needs and feedback. One of the highlights was preparing a comprehensive presentation to showcase our design process, the challenges we faced, and how we addressed them. This project was a significant milestone in my UX career, providing me with invaluable hands-on experience and enhancing my ability to communicate complex design concepts effectively.
Duration : Guess what? I powered through and finished the course in just a week! It was intense, but totally worth it.

Title: I wanted to share with you the careful consideration and thought that went into selecting the ideal name for our app. After much deliberation, I've chosen to call it 'Incredible.' This name resonates deeply with the essence of our project, embodying the extraordinary and exceptional nature of what we're offering. To me, 'Incredible' isn’t just a title; it’s a reflection of our commitment to excellence and innovation in this endeavor. I believe this name aligns perfectly with the app's unique features and the remarkable experience we aim to provide to our users.
Let me Introduce my partner, GAVIN!!
He’s a master at balancing work and family life, especially with his two lively boys. He’s incredibly self-disciplined, starting his day with early morning rituals like ice baths and prayers.
Gavin’s dedication extends to helping his kids with their studies, coaching them at the soccer club, and meticulously tracking their progress. His desire to instill good routines and habits in children inspired this idea. 🌟 of creating this app.
After numerous interviews and extensive discussions with Gavin, I meticulously crafted a storyboard. This storyboard serves as a comprehensive roadmap for my app, outlining every detail we’ve discussed.
I want to emphasize how crucial low-fidelity frames are to our process. They provide us with a canvas where we can freely brainstorm and pour out our thoughts. This enables us to collaborate and refine our ideas into a structured and cohesive plan.

Retrospective
What Went Well
The Interview: I'm quite new to this process, so initially, I wasn't entirely sure what to focus on or what questions to ask. However, after each interview, I gained a clearer understanding of their specific challenges. Discussing the situation with my partner or interviewee provided valuable insights into the problem and their experiences.
The Storyboard: With a clearer grasp of the situation, I crafted a storyboard. This served as a foundation for creating a persona, giving insight into how the app would be utilized and what features it might require.
Working on Critiques: After several rounds of usability testing, it became clear that there were significant issues with the initial design. This provided valuable insights into the necessary direction for the design.
What were my takeaways?
I've been exploring multiple solutions for the problem, working to understand which one aligns best with the specific challenge at hand.
Every detail on a page holds significant importance. Even the smallest mistakes can be quickly noticed by many people.
